ACS UK, the aircraft interiors specialist, has announced the expansion of its UK operations with the addition of a new facility in Cambridge, underscoring the company’s continued commercial success and forward-looking growth strategy.
Located just metres from the company’s existing Cambridge site, the new facility, named Novus, will complement ACS UK’s current operations and represents a significant investment in capacity and capability. Spanning 21,467 square feet across two floors, the site will provide a dedicated space for new final assembly lines, Test and development areas, enabling the business to meet increasing demand in the sector.
The expansion follows an exceptionally strong start to the year for ACS UK which has seen the business exceed its ‘New business’ sales targets for 2026 by a substantial margin within the first few months. This performance highlights the strength of its relationships with customers, alongside growing demand for its
services across the aviation interiors market. With airlines reporting record sales in April, and a highly successful presence at this year’s Aircraft Interiors Expo (AIX), this trajectory reflects both strong market demand and increasing customer engagement.
The additional capacity provided by Novus will ensure that ACS UK is well positioned to scale its operations, support a growing order book, and maintain the high standards of quality, responsiveness, and customer service for which it is renowned.
Nigel McSorley, CEO of ACS UK, said:
This expansion is a direct response to the strength of our business and the confidence we have in our future. Our return to the market has exceeded expectations, with demand significantly outpacing our initial projections and our order books performing strongly. Now is the right time to invest further in our facilities. The new site gives us the infrastructure to increase production, enhance the customer experience and build for the next phase of our growth.

As well as increasing operational capacity, Novus will provide a modern and welcoming environment for customers, supporting collaboration and enabling ACS UK to showcase its expertise and commitment to delivering premium aircraft interior solutions.
The one-acre site includes a dedicated yard and incorporates electric vehicle charging points, photovoltaic panels to support on-site energy generation, and cycle storage to encourage sustainable commuting. Alongside 60 additional parking spaces, these features create a modern, future-focused facility for both staff and customers. The facility is expected to become fully operational later this year.
